<p style="text-align: justify;">Sound too good to be true? If this were true, the coconut oil would be a kind of magic seasoning for cooking and stay healthy. Proponents  of this oil and considered healthy, say the secret of this oil is  called lauric acid, which the body become another substance with  anti-bacterial and anti-protozoa, ie, that can destroy lipid-coated viruses such as <strong>HIV</strong> and herpes, measles and influenza.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">However, not everything that glitters is gold! Against  the defenders of this oil, several national associations, international  experts warn that studies are yet to substantiate claim all these  benefits and scientific evidence.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">A ninety-minute daily nap speeds up the consolidation of long-term memory, according to a study of Mary Korman and his team at the University of Haifa, which is published in the latest issue of Nature Neuroscience.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The <strong>long-term memory</strong>, defined as one that does not subside or disappear after a long time can be of two types, the memory of &#8220;what&#8221; (what happened yesterday) and the memory of &#8220;how&#8221; (how to drive).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The study, conducted in conjunction with the Sleep Laboratory Sheba Medical Center and University of Montreal (Canada), was conducted in two groups of participants who repeat a sequence was made with the thumb and finger hand. Through this exercise, the ability of the &#8220;how&#8221; of memory, depending on the speed and correctness with which they perform the movements. <p style="text-align: justify;">&#8220;If no additional measures are taken, in 2030 the snuff can cause death of 8 million people a year,&#8221; said <strong>Armando Peruga</strong> director <strong>Snuff</strong> Free Initiative of WHO.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Therefore, the health organization decided to devote this year&#8217;s Day Without <strong>Snuff</strong>, held on 31 May, the <strong>Framework Convention</strong> for the Control of Snuff, it considers the best means to stop a habit that killed 100 million people in the twentieth century. A figure that could reach one million in the XXI century to follow the current trend, WHO highlights.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Convention was adopted in 2003 and came into force in 2005 and since then 173 WHO member states have joined as parties.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">&#8220;The <strong>snuff</strong> is one of the main drivers of the epidemic of noncommunicable diseases such as heart attacks, strokes, cancer or emphysema, which cause 63 percent of all deaths worldwide,&#8221; he recalled Peruga.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The obligations assumed by States Parties of the <strong>Framework Convention</strong> are to protect <strong>public health</strong> policies the interests of the tobacco industry, take measures relating to pricing and taxation to reduce the demand for <strong>snuff</strong> and protect people against smoke exposure to <strong>snuff</strong>.</p>
